History of Royal Connaught Boat Club
The Royal Connaught Boat Club was established in  the year 1868 under the name “Poona Boat Club” on the banks of the river Mula-Mutha. Utilizing the lake waters of a Bund constructed in 1850 for just upstream of the Fitzgerald bridge.

A. Please enquire at the Office.

A. No, Child Deposit Scheme has been closed on 31/01/2011.
 

Q. How many members does RCBC have at present?

A. There are 2,700 members at present.
 

Q. Are guests allowed to visit the Club?

A. Guests are allowed when accompanied by the Club member.
 

Q. What is the procedure to be followed for room reservations at the Club?

A. Information about the procedure will be made available online soon.
 

Q. Can marriage/ religious ceremonies be held at the Club premises?

A. No.The Club does not allow such ceremonies inside the Club premises. However receptions can be hosted at the Club.
 

Q. What is the dress code for members and their guests?

A. Casual.
 

Q. Are affiliated members allowed to bring guests, book party areas, make payments by cheque / credit cards?

A. No.
